Head Coach: Rachael Rogers Coach Rogers joined Western Dubuque in 2007, and became the Bobcats head coach in 2011. Previously, she has coached at Wahlert High School and Wartburg College. She also is currently the assistant coach at Loras College . Coach Rogers graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2006, where she majored in Social Science Education, and played for the Panther softball team. Coach Rogers started every game at the shortstop position, and received All-Conference honors and the Panther Impact Award while at UNI. Coach Rogers was inducted into the Iowa Girls High School Volleyball and Softball Hall of Fame. She also is a member of the Wahlert Catholic High School Hall of Fame. Rogers continues her love for sports by staying active in adult leagues throughout the area. Assistant Coach: Lindsey Digmann Coach Digmann joined the Bobcat Coaching Staff in 2012. Previously, she was the assistant coach at Linn-Mar High School in Marion where she also attended and played during high school. While at Linn-Mar, Digmann earned both All-Conference and All-State honors as a shortstop. Her team competed in 3 state tournaments finishing in 2nd place her senior year. Coach Digmann continued her softball career at the University of Iowa where she earned Big Ten All-Conference and All-Tournament honors. Digmann graduated from University of Iowa in 2011 with a major in History and minor in Sociology. Digmann is excited to join the Bobcat staff and looking forward to a terrific season. Go Bobcats!
Sophomore Coach: Christina Rose Coach Rose joined the Bobcat Coaching Staff in 2012. Previously, Coach Rose has been the freshman and sophomore softball coach at North Scott High School. Coach Rose graduated from North Scott High School where she played softball and earned all-conference and all-state honors as an outfielder. Her team competed in the state tournament 3 times; her teams placed 4th, 3rd and 2nd in class 4A. She continued her softball career playing all 4 years at St. Ambrose University where she earned all-conference honors. As a coach at North Scott she has returned to the state tournament 3 times, 2 of those times playing for the state championship. She is excited to start a new coaching career here at Western Dubuque Schools coaching the game that she loves! GO BOBCATS!
Freshman Coach: Ron Lehman Coach Lehman joined the Bobcat Coaching staff again in 2014 after taking some time off from coaching softball. Coach Lehman had a very successful career as the Bobcat Head Coach. He took the team to state in 2008 and has coached many players who have gone on to play college softball. Recently, Ron retired from serving as a correctional officer at the Anamosa State Penitentiary. Ron likes to spend time with his wife Marcia, three children Candy, Cassie and Cory, and his grandchildren. Freshman Coach: Lynn Heitkamp Coach Heitkamp joined the Bobcat Coaching Staff in 2015. Previously, Coach Heitkamp had been the assistant varsity softball coach at Wapello High School. Coach Heitkamp graduated from Galena High School where she earned All Conference honors. She attended Wartburg College and played for the Knights softball team for four years receiving All Conference and All Region Honors. Coach Heitkamp currently teaches 8th grade Literature & Language Arts at DMIS and is excited to join the Western Dubuque coaching staff.
